If you are assigned the role "Administrator" you should see the Admin link on the left side of the sites navigation bar. Once in the admin, the links you see on the left side navigation will depend on the roles assigned to you. If you feel like you have a task you need to perform in the admin and you don't have access to it, please contact us.
A list of all users in the site can be reached from the "Members List" under "User Admin".
Note that there is a checkbox to determine if "Active" users show up in the search results. You can search for a specific user by entering their name in the search textbox.
After clicking on a name in the results, you will navigate to the users detail page. Here you can update some, but not all, of that user's information. You can add a promotion if one is missing or verify one if you have that ability. You can also assign a role to that user if you have that ability. Not all roles are allowed to perform that function.
The dojo search screen can be reached from "Dojo List" link under "Dojo admin" in the left navigation.
Similar to the user search, you can type in a dojo name to find a specific dojo. After clicking on the dojo name in the results, you will navigate to that dojo's detail page where you can edit its information.
In that screen you can check a box to auto confirm membership requests. If left unchecked, users who assign a dojo to themselves in their profile will not be a member of that dojo until approved. That approval is done by a user in that dojo with the role of "leader". That person must navigate to the requester's user detail page in the admin and check the checkbox for "Dojo Membership Confirmed" and then click the "Update user" button.
Federation information can be maintained by navigating to the list of federations from "Federation List" under "Federation Admin" in the left navigation. In the federation detail page, their is a check box "Require Permission To Register". If checked, every user in that federation will need permission to register for membership and pay dues. That can be done by navigating to the user detail page of each user and checking the box "Membership Registration Allowed" and then clicking the "Update user" button. This only needs to be done once and then the user will always have access to register for membership unless the checkbox is unchecked.
You can see a list of products from the link in the left navigation. The "Create New" link will let you add a new product.
"Products" are records that define what can be purchased in this application. Products can be set up for each federation, or down to a specific dojo, for membership registration. Products can also be set up for taikai, shinsa, or seminar fees. You can set up a product to have a defined window of time where it is available for purchase. You can deactivate a product so that it is no longer available for purchase. Products can also be tied to specific federations, dojos, taikais, shinsa, and seminars.
